Simple Editing allows employees to make basic adjustments to their own information without compromising the layout, colors, or the brand’s visual standards.
The following fields are typically available for editing:
- Name
- Job title
- Phone number
- Address
How does it work?
The employee receives a public email signature link by email. When opening this link in a browser, the email signature is already displayed and ready to use.
When Simple Editing is enabled, editable fields appear directly on the page.
Example:
With Simple Editing, the employee can:
- Adjust the address or city
- Correct the name or email address
- Update the phone number or extension.
After making changes, the Copy signature button will copy the updated version of the signature.
What cannot be changed
It is not possible to modify:
- Colors
- Links
- Images
- Signature layout or structure
These elements remain fully controlled by the administrator to ensure brand consistency.
