This will open a dialog box for you to insert the link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add the phone link:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the link dialog box, type&nbsp;<code>tel:<\/code>&nbsp;followed by your phone number without any spaces or special characters. Setting a default color will prevent email clients like Gmail from changing the number to blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Extras <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It&#8217;s possible to add a phone link to icons;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are using Gmail, <em>Google Chat phone calls<\/em> will open;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This works for Gmail and modern email clients. We imagine that this feature does not work with any of Microsoft Outlook&#8217;s versions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send a test email to ensure that the phone link is clickable and directs to the correct number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preventing text color changes in Gmail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To prevent Gmail, among other email clients, from changing the color of the phone link in the email signature, you need to set a default color in the signature, right after adding the link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/blog\/remove-gmail-blue-link\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">complete tutorial<\/a>. Note that I have changed the color to <strong>Black<\/strong> by default.
