{"id":7251,"date":"2026-01-27T10:38:29","date_gmt":"2026-01-27T13:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=7251"},"modified":"2026-03-20T17:34:57","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T20:34:57","slug":"assign-employee-signature","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/article\/assign-employee-signature\/","title":{"rendered":"How linked signatures work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Linked Signatures allow you to connect a normal email signature to a specific employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This link ensures that the correct signature is applied automatically, especially in <strong>Outlook Add-in deployments<\/strong>, where user identification is based on the email address of the logged-in account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In practice, this feature creates a direct connection between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>who the employee is, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>which signature they should use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Manual signature linking is required <strong>only for normal signatures<\/strong>.
