{"id":3515,"date":"2022-02-08T12:50:26","date_gmt":"2022-02-08T15:50:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=3515"},"modified":"2026-06-25T16:52:05","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T19:52:05","slug":"sync-data-remove","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/article\/sync-data-remove\/","title":{"rendered":"Sync data &#8211; remove if not found"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This feature described below will remove employees from automation if the user is not found in the user directory (Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Typically, you&#8217;ll want to remove an employee if they no longer exist in your organization. For example, you removed the user from the Google Workspace Users Directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This option will do that for you. Note that this will not remove the user if they are only suspended in your organization&#8217;s directory; you need to remove them completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remove if not found<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find this option in Automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on an automation that is integrated with Google Workspace or Microsoft Login.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, click on the <strong>Employees<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the <strong>Sync data<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"561\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ZohoCRMSyncData-edited.png\" alt=\"Example of the Sync data button.\" class=\"wp-image-6615\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ZohoCRMSyncData-edited.png 1000w, https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ZohoCRMSyncData-edited-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ZohoCRMSyncData-edited-768x431.png 768w, https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ZohoCRMSyncData-edited-50x28.png 50w, https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ZohoCRMSyncData-edited-60x34.png 60w, https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/ZohoCRMSyncData-edited-100x56.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Load the list of users related to a domain. Therefore, to remove only a few, let&#8217;s say 2 or 3 employees, it&#8217;s better to do the removal manually in the automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a video with a quick example of manually removing an employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"570\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 966 \/ 570;\" width=\"966\" controls src=\"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/department-remove-employees.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Considerations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does not work for suspended users<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the user is suspended in the Users Directory, it is still loaded in Bybrand.
