If you need to create a new signature without association to an automation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/docs\/article\/own-html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">consult this tutorial<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll do all the steps to paste, edit, and update email signatures from HTML code. Here are the considerations you should read before using the feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An email signature does not accept JavaScript;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CSS code must be in <strong>inline<\/strong> mode, not embedded;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only content within the HTML <strong>body<\/strong> tag is loaded;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not all CSS properties are supported, details in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campaignmonitor.com\/css\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Campaign Monitor<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/templates.mailchimp.com\/resources\/email-client-css-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Mailchimp<\/a>;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I get the HTML version of an email signature?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating an HTML signature from scratch can be too complex. In this way, there are some options for you to get a complete HTML code and make your edits advanced. And simple logic like &#8220;IF-ELSE&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Create one from scratch using an HTML editor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are a web designer, or if your company has a professional with these skills, you will probably want to use this option. Creating your own signature using an IDE like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jetbrains.com\/webstorm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">WebStorm<\/a>, Notepad ++, or Sublime Text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Buy a ready email signature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some freelancers create personalized email signatures, and these ready-made templates can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bybrand.io\/blog\/fiverr-email-signature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fiverr<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xI6FPMLR5ko&amp;t=145s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gemini<\/a>. So, copy the signature code and paste it into the HTML editor area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that we are unable to support third-party HTML.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Edit the HTML version of the signature<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The tutorial steps start here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s assume that you already have an automation created. You can also select text to point in the HTML to where it is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perform simple editing on the signature;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Change images and icons;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find text inside the HTML;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Placeholders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your HTML does not contain the automation placeholders, the email signature will not automatically update with each employee&#8217;s information when you click to view the signature on the <strong>Employees<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, you need to add placeholders.
