Adding WhatsApp call link

You can send direct messages from a webpage or from the platforms for Windows and Mac in WhatsApp, not only by cellphone. Knowing these features, you can also create a WhatsApp call link in your email signature.

Let’s go through a step-by-step of all of the processes of adding a WhatsApp call link to your HTML email signature.

If you or your contact open the email signature in a device that has WhatsApp installed, you’ll also be able to directly send messages. The feature also works with Android and iOS smartphones.

The Click to Chat feature allows you to start a chat with anyone without having their number saved in your phone catalog.

If your number is something like +33 (18) 820 0022, you’ll need to remove all spaces or special characters.

Create a link to:

First, go edit your email signature using the editor and select the text where you’d like to add the link. An options menu will open, choose “add link”.

After the window is open, put in your personalized link like the example below:

Click to add and save your changes. You can also use the same process to add a link to an icon image if you have one.

WhatsApp is the most used communication app in the world. It’s not a bad idea to add a direct call button in your signature.
